The Wild School grew from humble beginnings — a small home daycare with a very big dream. From the very start, our vision was simple: to create a place where children could thrive beyond four walls, surrounded by the beauty and lessons of nature.

As a mother and Ayurvedic practitioner, I had always felt called to nurture children in a way that honored both their well-being and their natural curiosity. I dreamed of building something that felt less like a classroom and more like an extension of family — a space where little ones could be truly seen, cared for, and encouraged to grow at their own pace. My husband, a physicist with a deep fascination for how the world works, shared that dream. His scientific lens added another layer to our vision, reminding us that every leaf, every raindrop, and every discovery outdoors holds a lesson worth exploring.

Together, we built The Wild School as a family-led program in San Antonio — one that blends heart and science, care and curiosity. What started as a handful of children in a cozy home has grown into a community of families who believe in the power of outdoor learning. Here, children climb, create, imagine, and discover with hands-on experiences that inspire confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
